Getting it out of the way...

...before anyone finds this blog. I'll just sneak in the corner of shame. Yep, the stash. No matter what I do, it grows. I think about it as I fall asleep at night (this would be great for that...oooo...or maybe that!!!). It haunts me, I suppose in a good way. But it expands while I'm not looking. It breeds. Well...those little packages in the mail may have something to do with it. It's insidious. A little bit of it has crept into the closet. Tiny pieces have migrated over the apartment...a ball of sock yarn here...a bit of silk/merino in the office which I can keep my eye on as I study. (i'm pretty sure the sock yarn is breeding like bunnies when I'm not looking.)
I've decided to take no responsibility.
It isn't really my fault. How can it be? People keep making the most beautiful stuff! And ebay, please. I work/ed at a yarn store(s). People even give me yarn. AND there is my downfall. Thus, not my fault. Totally.

How cool. :)

Knitting Olympics on NPR the other night!! Very cool. Personally, I could barely take the pressure of Xmas knitting but I applaud all you Olympians! Although...I've been eyeing a couple of sweaters.....maybe it's time to tackle....hmmmm.....dammit!
